A slushy day in Bethel. After spending the morning at the dentist office we were finally able to go to the NEW Molten Java for some yummy coffee and cookies. Lucky for us Grampy was able to babysit at the dentist office with the iPad and GG was able to meet us up for coffee and cookies. Good thing they are so close and still live in Bethel… wonder if thing are going to change?!?

In attempt to keep Jake awake during Tummy Time (yes he usually falls asleep during his exciting workout after a few attempts on doing a push up) Riley dragged his mat over to the area she set up a birthday party for her new “Shoulder Buddy.” All the guest were around Jake celebrating. I asked Riley if Jake was playing too and she said “No he is a guest at the birthday party.” So does that mean he was just one of the toys? or was he playing with her?

Good kisses from The Brady! Brady’s 11th was this week… 11! We had to go and celebrate with her. Instead of Birthday cake she just wanted to kiss Jake’s toes and chase Riley around the house!

Oh the faces you make! You are getting more and more expressive everyday. It is now a game that we play… who can make you smile bigger or laugh louder. Riley usually wins because she can get you to smile every time!

To help get this pregnancy weight off? To give Riley a place to RUN and get her energy out this winter? To just get out of the house with Jake? Whatever the excuse is… we joined the indoor track down the road. Walking/running/playing around the track is also keeping us from complaining all winter long about why we live up north and not down south where we could be outdoors golfing/biking/playing right now… (that wasn’t a complaint)

Relaxing?

Is it really “relaxing” staying at home on a rainy cold day? We may be in comfy clothes doing crafts, reading and playing games all day… but is that really “relaxing?” I understand what people say about needed a vacation after their vacation now… But I have to say my new definition of “relaxing” is more fun then my old definition of “relaxing.”

Tracking. Jake is tracking more and more each day. Today Tony taught Riley about what tracking is and how she can help Jake track her. How could you not track that laughter… that cute face… that silly big sister!

Watching you lay in your “gym” and realize that you hit the dangling orange elephant to make it move and make noise was more entertaining than the late night TV. Every time you realized it your eyes bugged out and you would smile or coo. It was took cute!

Party in my crib with all of my closest friends! I woke up from my nap to a real party (GG n Tony came over) to enjoy my birthday treats that my big sister made. Lucky for me Riley was here to help make my cupcakes, blow out the candle, eat my cupcakes and open my presents at my 1 month party!

Happy New Year! Up all night, playing with the BIG kids and was the life of the party… Riley. Last night of being up all night (new years resolution), cuddled up with all of the adults and was the sleepy head of the party (even when everyone was blowing the loud horns)… Jake.
